ChatSQT Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ChatSQT (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use ChatSQT (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
1) What we collect
We collect information needed to operate the App, improve features, keep the service secure, and support billing.
- Account information: email address and/or phone number (depending on how you sign up), and a unique user ID.
- Authentication data: session tokens handled by our authentication provider to keep you signed in.
- Usage data: app interactions (e.g., feature usage), timestamps, and basic diagnostics to improve reliability.
- Content you provide: messages you send, prompts, and files you upload (including images/audio), plus any metadata needed to process them (e.g., file type/size).
- Generated outputs: text, images, audio, video, and documents created for you, stored so you can view them in your Library.
- Payment/subscription data: subscription status and plan tier. We do not store full card details in the App; payments are handled by your payment provider.
2) How we use your information
- Provide core features (chat, generation, uploads, library, sharing).
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, enforce plan limits, and protect accounts.
- Improve performance and fix bugs (e.g., crash/diagnostic logs).
- Communicate service updates, policy changes, and important account notices.
- Support billing, subscriptions, and plan entitlements.
3) AI processing and third-party services
To generate responses, the App sends necessary inputs (such as your prompt or uploaded media) to AI service providers. These providers process the data to produce the requested output. We only send what is required to fulfill your request.
We also use infrastructure providers to host the App backend, database, and file storage. These services are used to reliably store your account data and your artifacts (e.g., generated images, audio, videos).
4) Storage, retention, and deletion
We store your messages and generated outputs so you can access them later. Some items may be retained only for a limited period depending on app settings, plan rules, or storage limits.
- You can delete conversations and artifacts from within the App where available.
- You can erase memory summaries/pins via the App’s memory controls (if enabled).
- We may keep certain logs for security and fraud prevention for a reasonable period.
- your account information is deleted if your account stays inactive for an exetended period of 2 years,or upon your request.
5) Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these cases:
- Service providers: hosting, databases, storage, analytics, and AI processing — only to operate the App.
- Legal obligations: if required by law, court order, or valid legal process.
- Safety and security: to investigate abuse, fraud, or threats, or to protect users and the service.
- Business transfers: if the service is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy.
6) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, so we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your account access private.
7) Children and teen users
ChatSQT is designed to be used responsibly. If you are under the age required in your country to consent to data processing, you should use the App only with permission from a parent or guardian.
8) Your choices and rights
- Access/Update: You can update profile details where available in the App.
- Delete: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support.
- Opt-out: You can choose not to upload optional content; some features require certain data to function.
9) International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, depending on where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate protection consistent with this policy.
10) Policy updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will provide an in-app notice or other appropriate communication.
